How long does it take to build a website in Egypt? A week-by-week plan
Real timelines for landing pages, company sites, stores and apps, what happens each week, and the delays that are easy to avoid.
A company website takes 2 to 4 weeks and a landing page 5 to 7 days, when the content is ready. Most delays come from waiting for text, photos and approvals, far more often than from design or code.
Timelines at a glance
| Project | Typical time | What usually decides it |
|---|---|---|
| Landing page | 5 to 7 days | How fast the offer and text are approved |
| Company website, 5 to 10 pages | 2 to 4 weeks | Content and the number of feedback rounds |
| Online store | 3 to 6 weeks | Number of products, payments and shipping setup |
| Web app or dashboard | 4 to 10 weeks | Integrations and user roles |
| Mobile app | 6 to 12 weeks | Screens, backend and app store review |
A company website, week by week
Days 1 to 3: discovery and a written scope
A call about your goals, customers and competitors, then a written proposal that lists every page, the price and the milestones. Nothing gets designed until the scope is agreed.
Week 1: structure and words
We plan the pages around the questions your customers ask and write or edit the copy. Content is the step that slips most often, so it starts on day one, before design.
Week 2: design
The home page is designed first in Figma, with one round of feedback. Once it is approved, the inner pages follow the same system and move faster.
Weeks 2 to 3: build
Pages go up on a private staging link you can open on your phone. Forms, WhatsApp buttons, booking and tracking get connected while each page is built.
Final week: testing and launch
We test on real Android phones and iPhones, check speed on PageSpeed, set up Search Console and the sitemap, then launch and watch the first enquiries arrive.
What slows projects down
- Text and photos arriving late. A page without content can’t be finished, however good the design is.
- Too many people approving. Decide who has the final word before the project starts.
- New ideas halfway through. Good ideas belong in phase two unless they are critical.
- Waiting on third parties. Domain access, payment gateway accounts and hosting logins can each take days.
How to finish on time
- Name one decision maker. One person collects feedback from the team and sends it.
- Prepare the basics before kickoff. Logo files, brand colours, photos, the list of services and prices, and access to your domain.
- Send feedback in one message per round. A single list is faster than a stream of separate comments.
- Keep a phase two list. Write new ideas down and add them after launch.

Questions we get
Can you build a website in one week?
A landing page, yes. A full company website in a week usually means a template with your logo on it. If the deadline is real, we launch the most important pages first and add the rest in the following weeks. Our guide to landing pages and full websites explains which to start with.
Does an Arabic and English site take longer?
Yes, by about a week. Arabic needs its own layout and its own copy, written by someone who speaks it. We explain why in how to build an Arabic and English website that ranks.
What happens after launch?
The first weeks after launch are for fixing what real visitors reveal: a form field that confuses people, a page that loads slowly on one phone. We stay on call through that period.
