White Friday 2026 in Egypt and the Gulf: a week-by-week plan for your November campaigns
The key dates of November 2026, the offer and margin math, tracking, the funnel and a five-week calendar, so your ads are ready before the auction gets expensive.
Most November campaigns are decided in October. The businesses that sell well on White Friday know their offer, their margins and their audiences before the first sale ad runs. The ones that start on the day pay the highest prices of the year to reach strangers. This is the plan we use with clients, week by week.
The dates that matter in November 2026
| Date | Occasion | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Wednesday 11 November | 11.11 (Singles’ Day) | A first sales peak, big with marketplaces, fashion and beauty. A good day to test your offer. |
| Friday 27 November | White Friday | The biggest day of the month, and it falls on the Egyptian weekend. |
| Monday 30 November | Cyber Monday | The last push of the month, and a natural end date for your offer. |
| December | Year-end and New Year sales | A second season, for buyers who waited or want gifts. |
| Around 8 February 2027 | Expected start of Ramadan | The next big season. Planning for it starts in December. |
Friday is a blessed day in our region, so the market here calls this sale White Friday, and many brands give it a name of their own, such as Pink Friday for a beauty brand. Our 30 White Friday offer ideas include how to name yours. Many marketplaces and large retailers also run their November sales for a whole week or the whole month, so plan for a season, with its peak on the last weekend.
Why ads cost more in November
Ad platforms sell attention in an auction. In November most brands raise their budgets at the same time, so the cost of reaching the same person goes up, and it peaks in the last week of November. You can’t change the auction, but you can change who you pay to reach. People who already know you usually buy at a much lower cost than strangers, which is why the preparation below starts weeks before the sale.
Step 1: an offer you can afford
A discount is one kind of offer, and the most expensive one. Do the margin math before you pick a percentage. Say a product sells for 1,000 pounds and costs you 600 to make and deliver, so you keep 400. A 30% discount takes 300 of that, leaving 100 per order before ads. If each order costs 150 in ads, every sale loses money.
Offers that protect the margin often sell just as well:
- A bundle: two or three products together, at a better price than buying them separately.
- A gift with orders above a set amount, which also raises the average order.
- Free shipping for the season.
- Early access for people who join your WhatsApp or email list before the sale.
- A tiered discount that grows with the basket.
Whatever you choose, keep it honest. A "was" price that never existed misleads buyers, and Egypt’s consumer protection law (No. 181 of 2018) treats misleading offers as a violation.
Step 2: tracking before spending
If the pixel misses half the sales, the platform learns from the wrong people at the most expensive time of the year. Check these before the first sale ad:
- Purchase events. The Meta pixel and Conversions API, the TikTok pixel and the GA4 purchase event each fire once per order, with the right value.
- A real test order. Order from a phone, pay with each method, and check that the order shows up everywhere.
- UTM links. Every link in ads, posts and WhatsApp messages is tagged, so GA4 shows which channel sold.
- Calls and WhatsApp. If customers order by phone or chat, count those clicks as conversions too.
Step 3: build the funnel in stages
A November funnel has four stages, and each one needs its own ads:
| Stage | When | Goal | What to run |
|---|---|---|---|
| Warm-up | Early November | Get the right people to know you | Short videos, product demos, customer reviews |
| Capture | Mid November | Collect the people who want the offer | Early-access sign-up, WhatsApp list, lead forms |
| Sale | White Friday week | Turn warm people into orders | Offer ads to viewers, visitors and the list, plus retargeting |
| After the sale | December | Second orders and reviews | Thank-you messages, related products, the year-end offer |
Each stage is explained in detail in how to build a sales funnel that turns ads into orders.
Step 4: a site that can take the traffic
- Speed on mobile data. Test the product and checkout pages on a mid-range Android phone.
- A short checkout. Fewer fields, checkout without an account, and delivery prices shown before the last step.
- Local payments. Cash on delivery, cards and wallets, and instalments if your buyers use them.
- Stock and delivery. Real stock numbers, and a clear last date for orders that should arrive before the weekend or the month ends.
- A landing page per offer. Send sale traffic to the offer itself, not to the home page.
If your store can’t handle this today, our November offer takes 70% off custom-coded stores and websites for contracts signed by 30 November.
Step 5: creatives ready before the rush
Prepare several angles for the same offer: the price, the product in use, a customer review, the deadline. Make each one in the formats each platform needs, vertical for Reels and TikTok and square for the feed. Fresh creatives keep costs down when the same people see your ads several times in one week.
The five-week calendar
| Week | What to do |
|---|---|
| 26 Oct to 1 Nov | Choose the offer and do the margin math. Fix tracking. Brief the creatives. |
| 2 to 8 Nov | Launch the warm-up content. Build audiences from video viewers and visitors. Prepare the landing pages. |
| 9 to 15 Nov | Test the offer around 11.11. Open early-access sign-up. |
| 16 to 22 Nov | Keep the winning ads, switch off the rest, grow the retargeting audiences. |
| 23 to 30 Nov | White Friday week: the highest budget goes to warm audiences, with a last push on Cyber Monday. |
Budget: steady, then concentrated
Raise budgets in steps through November rather than all at once on the day. Ad platforms learn from steady results, and Meta puts an ad set back into its learning phase after a significant edit, so make your changes before the peak, not during it. On Google Ads, a seasonality adjustment tells smart bidding to expect a short rise in conversions, and Google recommends it for events that last a few days.
Keep a reserve for the last weekend. If an ad set keeps reaching its daily limit on White Friday at a good cost per sale, you want room to raise it.
Mistakes we see every November
- Starting ads on White Friday itself, with no warm audience.
- A discount chosen without the margin math.
- Sending all the traffic to the home page.
- Countdown timers that restart on every visit.
- No follow-up after the sale, so December starts from zero.
Questions about November campaigns
Is it too late to start in mid November?
No, but cut the plan to what matters: fix tracking first, run one clear offer, and retarget everyone who already knows you. Skip the long warm-up.
How much should I spend?
Start from the numbers: how many orders you want, your average order value, and what you can pay per order and still make money. The budget follows from that.
Should every product be discounted?
Usually not. Pick the products with the healthiest margins or the ones that bring customers back, and use bundles for the rest.
