Brand identity design in Egypt: what you get, what it costs and how long it takes
What a brand identity includes beyond the logo, the steps from workshop to brand guidelines, the files you should receive, and starting prices.
A brand identity is the set of visual rules that makes your business recognisable wherever it appears: the logo, colours, type, photography style and the templates your team uses every day. The logo is one piece of it. This guide covers what a full identity includes, how the work is done and what it costs.
What a brand identity includes
| Part | What you receive |
|---|---|
| Logo | The main logo, a short version and an icon, in colour and in black and white |
| Colour palette | Main and supporting colours, with codes for screen and print |
| Typography | Arabic and English typefaces that work together, with sizes for headlines and text |
| Graphic elements | Patterns, shapes or icons that carry the identity beyond the logo |
| Applications | Business cards, letterhead and social media templates, plus packaging or signage when needed |
| Brand guidelines | A document that explains how to use all of the above correctly |
How the work is done
- Workshop. Your audience, competitors, positioning and the feeling the brand should give.
- Direction. Two or three visual directions with references, so the style is agreed before any logo is drawn.
- Logo design. Concepts based on the chosen direction, refined in rounds of feedback.
- The system. Colours, typography, elements and applications built around the approved logo.
- Guidelines and files. The brand book and every file your team and printers need.
Arabic and English together
Most brands in Egypt and the Gulf appear in both languages. The Arabic logo and typeface deserve the same care as the English ones, with matching weight and spacing, so the brand looks like one brand in both.
The files you should receive
- Vector logo files (AI, SVG and PDF) and PNG files on transparent backgrounds.
- Colour codes in HEX, RGB and CMYK.
- The font names and licences, or free alternatives.
- Editable templates for social media and documents.
- The brand guidelines as a PDF.
Cost and timeline
With us, a logo alone starts from $199, a full brand identity from $599 and a brand strategy workshop from $399. A full identity usually takes two to three weeks, and the final price follows the scope: the number of applications, packaging and signage.
Questions about brand identity
Who owns the logo?
You do. After the final payment, the rights and all source files are yours.
How many logo concepts will I see?
We agree on the direction first, then present focused concepts within it. A few strong options lead to a better decision than a long list of unrelated ideas.
Can you redesign an existing logo?
Yes. Some brands need a full change, and many need a careful refresh that keeps what people already know.
